Two Available!
The
Aventure Bahamas 50 Flybridge Express Catamaran

A fine example of the design work done by Angelo
Lavranos in New Zealand. The yacht has three
staterooms, two doubles forward and a centerline queen in the
master stateroom. There are two heads associated with the
staterooms and an additional “day” head under the fiberglass
molded stairway that leads from the cockpit to the flybridge.
Key features of the Aventure Bahamas 50 are: narrow 15’9”
beam, shallow 3’ draft, standup engine rooms (practically
unheard of in power cats), fuel efficiency and ‘catlike’
stability in a seaway. This new boat profits from the
expertise of the New Zealand based design group and the
South African builder in constructing highly seaworthy, safe
boats. Additional, advantages include two steering choices:
enclosed wheelhouse protected from the elements, or flybridge
steering for an expansive view and fresh air.
From the large cockpit you can either enter in to the wheelhouse
or go up the staircase to the flybridge. In the wheelhouse there
is the steering station with full electronics and a bar with bar
stools. From the wheelhouse you go down a short stairway to the
galley/dining area with large panoramic windows and a beautiful
cherry table. There is seating for at least six adults.
From the dining area you can go down short stairways either port
or starboard to the three staterooms and two heads. As
mentioned, the forward guest staterooms are doubles and the
master is fitted with a queen berth. All are extremely spacious
and comfortable.
The engine rooms are accessed from hatches in the cockpit or
from sound insulated doorways in the master stateroom. The
engine accessibility is second to none with a standup engine
room and ability to access the not only the engines but also
the filters, batteries and other mechanical systems.
Finally, other unique features of the Aventure Bahamas 50
include: a fully integrated swim platform, recessed anchor
roller with oversized, electric windlass and two large anchor
chain lockers, full walk-around from the cockpit to the bow,
oversized cleats, and a stainless, bow to stern rubrail, that is
second to none in the industry.
